Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Testing and Inspection

Air Regulator Test:

1. Disconnect the air regulator connector.
2. Check resistance of air regulator with an ohm meter.
Approximately 75 ohms.
3. Remove the air regulator and hose.
4. Check air passage at operating temperature.
Should be closed.
5. Check air passage at cool temperature.
Should be open.
Replace the regulator if it fails the above test.
