Throttle Wire

1. Remove control valve assembly.
2. Disconnect throttle cable from carburetor throttle valve and from throttle lever.
3. Remove throttle cable from transmission case.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
5. Torque throttle cable securing nut to 3.6-5.1 ft. lbs. on 1989-90 Pulsar and 1989-92 Sentra or 1.4-2.2 ft. lbs. on all other models, then bend lock plate securely.
6. Adjust throttle cable.
7. Turn rubber boot to eliminate twisting, and ensure parting line is as straight as possible.
