Exploded View:

1. Raise and support front of vehicle and remove wheel.

Brake Pad Replacement:

Note: Dual piston caliper is shown in image. Single piston caliper is held in the same manner.
2. Remove brake hose lock spring if necessary and lower pin bolt then pivot caliper body upwards.
3. Remove pad retainers, inner and outer shims and the pads.
4. Install new inner pad and pivot caliper downward.
5. Compress piston(s) by inserting bar through caliper opening and prying against torque member.
6. Pivot caliper upwards, then install outer pad, inner and outer shims and pad retainers.
7. Position caliper body and install lower pin.

CAUTIONS:
^ When cylinder body is swung up, do not depress brake pedal because piston will pop out.

^ Be careful not to damage dust cover or get oil on rotor. Always replace shims when replacing pads.
