Disc & Drum: Description

All brake systems are hydraulically operated using a tandem master cylinder and vacuum power unit. The 240SX and 300ZX models have 4-wheel disc brakes as a standard feature. All other models have front disc and rear drum brakes standard. On Maxima, Pathfinder and Pickup, a load sensing proportioning valve to regulate rear brake pressure is used. Rear disc brakes are optional.
