Pathfinder & Pickup
- Turn ignition switch to "ON" position. On models with sub fuel gauge, ensure that battery voltage exists between Yellow and Black wires. On models without sub fuel gauge, ensure that battery voltage exists between terminal No. 28 and terminal No. 10. See Figure.
- If there is not 12 volts, check for blown fusible link or fuse. Check harness continuity between battery terminal and combination meter. Check for malfunctioning ignition relay and/or ignition switch.
- If there is 12 volts, check output voltage. On models with sub fuel gauge, check voltage between Blue and Black wires. On models without sub fuel gauge, check voltage between point "A" and terminal No. 10. See Figure.
- Output voltage should be 8 volts. If output voltage is incorrect, disassemble combination meter and replace voltage regulator.
