ENGINE IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
DURING A/C PERFORMANCE TEST
APPLIED MODELS: 1988 Truck/Pathfinder (D21/WD21)
When adjusting the engine idle speed during A/C performance test, pages HA-20 and -33 of the 1988 Truck/Pathfinder Service Manual (July 1987 (05) printing), indicate the automatic transmission should be in the "D" range, however this should read "N" range. Please make this correction by hand on page HA-20 as shown below.

3. Set engine speed with air conditioner in ON position (F.I.C.D. is actuated) to following specifications:
The attached page (HA-33) shows this correction and a modification in lubricating oil capacity. Please attach this page to your copy of subject Service Manual. These changes will be incorporated in the next printing of the Service Manual.
