Inspection

1. Inspect mating surfaces of clutch for heat damage and scoring, then, if necessary, replace coil, pulley and bearing assembly, and clutch disc as an assembly.
2. Clean all mating surfaces using a suitable solvent and clean shop towel.
3. Inspect coil for shorted or open windings.
