Fuel Tank Sending Unit Test
- Remove sending unit from fuel tank. Measure resistance between terminals "G" (+) and "E" (-) of sending unit connector. On models with a sub fuel gauge, use terminal "G1" for the main fuel tank gauge and "G2" for sub fuel tank gauge. See Fig 1 .
- Resistance values should change as the position of the fuel gauge is changed. Resistance values should be about equal to those on the FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE (OHMS) chart.
