200SX & 300ZX
- Connect vacuum pump gauge to boost sensor. Sensor is located at right front shock tower. Disconnect harness connector from boost sensor and connect battery and voltmeter. Apply vacuum to nipple of boost sensor by using a vacuum pump. See Fig 1
.
- Using a voltmeter measure voltages with vacuum applied to boost sensor. Readings should be about 2.2 volts at zero in. Hg., and about 1.3 volts at 15.75 in. Hg. If readings are not reproduced, replace boost sensor.
