Removal & Installation (Maxima)

Disconnect battery ground. Remove instrument panel upper garnish and heater control trim panel. Remove instrument panel lower trim under steering column and center of instrument panel.
Remove fuse block. Disconnect Super Multiple Junction (SMJ) for instrument harness. Remove cluster lid "C" and cluster lid "A" with air vents. See Fig 1 .
Remove screws attaching combination meter to instrument panel. Release electrical connectors and speedometer cable. Remove combination meter from instrument panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
