Japan and U.S. built 1986.5-87 D21 Trucks do not use the same shock absorbers. When replacing them, be sure to identify the origin of the vehicle before ordering parts.
^ On Japan built vehicles, the first VIN digit is "J".
^ On U.S. built vehicles, the first VIN digit is "1".

The shock absorbers are interchangeable in axle sets only.
