APPLIED MODEL: 1986.5-1987 D21 Truck with dealer installed ET/100 AM/FM ET combo radio (P/N B8026-C9910RX)
SERVICE INFORMATION
Some of the Applied Model vehicles may exhibit radio volume loss when the windshield wipers are turned off. This condition has been corrected in current production radios, and the countermeasure radios may be identified by an "EF" stamp on the radio back panel. Pre-countermeasure incident radios lose volume for about 1 to 3 seconds just before the wipers reach the park position. Use the following Parts Information and Service Procedure to eliminate this condition.
