OPERATION
The parking brake system utilizes a drum, with shoes. The parking brake lever, when set, applies the set of shoes against the hub via a parking brake cable and toggle arm linkage. A ratchet at the brake lever holds the parking brakes in place. Also, a parking brake light switch, located at the lever, is used to activate the warning lamp in the dash.
