Fuel Tank Sending Unit Check

Remove sending unit from tank. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance across terminal No. 1 and No. 2 of fuel tank sending unit in "FULL" position. Reading should be less than 26 ohms. In "1/2" position, reading should be approximately 135-195 ohms. In "EMPTY" position, reading should be approximately 685-1010 ohms. If any measurement is incorrect, replace sending unit.
