Valve Springs & Seals: Installation

  1. Install valve spring seats. Install oil seals using Valve Lip Seal Drift (KV10107500). Lubricate valve stem end with oil and carefully insert in guide to avoid damaging lip seal.
  2. Install valve spring (uneven pitch type) with narrow pitch side toward cylinder head. Using valve spring compressor, compress spring. Install retainer and keepers.
