Rocker Arm & Shaft Assembly: Installation

1. Apply oil to rocker shaft and rocker arm bore. Intake rocker shaft has identification mark (slit on front surface) but exhaust shaft does not. Both rocker shafts must be assembled with punched marks on front surface facing 12 o'clock position to identify oil hole direction. See Fig 1 .
2. Reverse disassembly and removal procedures to assemble and install rocker arm assembly. Adjust valve clearance.
