Removal & Installation: Engine: Installation

  1. Install engine mount brackets and insulators on engine. Align notches in left side mount support and collar when installing support. There should be no clearance between mount support and vehicle body when installed.
  2. When installing front mount support, position oblong hole in support so that the insulator is in center of bracket. With mount supports installed, tighten buffer rod adjusting bolt to prevent rubber from deforming.
  3. Reverse removal procedure to install engine and transaxle. Use new nuts when installing ball joints. Ensure all hoses, cables, and wires are properly attached.
