Engine Front Covers & Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Lubricate new oil seal lip with engine oil. Using seal driver/installer, drive seal into position. Align oil pump and crankshaft locating notches and install oil pump assembly.
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. When installing timing belt, ensure crankshaft and camshaft are in proper alignment. See TIMING BELT  .
