Oil Pump: Installation

  1. When installing timing belt, ensure crankshaft and camshaft are in proper positions and locating marks on belt and sprockets align. Apply sealant to outside diameter of oil seal before installation.
  2. After installing new oil seal, align locating notches of oil pump and crankshaft and install oil pump assembly. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
