Cleaning & Inspection

Clean all parts in brake fluid. Check cylinder bore and pistons for excessive wear or damage. If piston-to-cylinder clearance is greater than .006" (.15 mm), replace necessary parts. Replace any torn or damaged rubber parts.

NOTE: Wheel cylinders are produced by 2 manufacturers, Nabco and Tokico. Parts are not interchangeable. Ensure repair kit matches wheel cylinder. Brake fluid must be DOT 3 or higher rated.
