Removal & Installation: Removal
- Raise and support front of vehicle; remove front wheels. Remove cotter pins and nuts from tie rods, then pull tie rods from steering knuckle. Loosen bolt securing lower joint assembly to pinion, then remove bolt from lower joint assembly.
- Remove bolts securing steering gear housing to front member, then remove steering gear and linkage by pulling them out to the side.
