Removal And Installation: Notes
DANGER
- Before connecting the connector, keep 100 mm (3.9 in) or more away from the laser transmitter lens. Therefore, install the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU to the FCM bracket before connecting the connector. Whenever you remove the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU from the bracket, disconnect the connector beforehand.
CAUTION:
- Do not drop the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU, or expose it to impact. If yes, do not install it even if it has been stored in a packing.
- Do not touch or contaminate the lens on the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU.
- Whenever you replace the FCM/LDW/AHB-ECU, calibrate its sensor (Refer to CHECK AT ECU TERMINAL ).
- After the calibration (Refer to CHECK AT ECU TERMINAL ), check that none of severe scratch, cracks, foreign material or water drop is found on the windshield.
