DTC B240B: PS side antenna (outdoor) open: Diagnosis

STEP 1. Check of short to power supply, short to ground, and open circuit in EASP, EASG line between the outside transmission antenna assembly (passenger's side) connector and the KOS-ECU connector.
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: Go to Step 2
2. NO: Repair the connectors or wiring harness.
STEP 2. Keyless operation system communication test
Check that the communication with the outside transmission antenna assembly (passenger's side) is normal (Refer to ANTENNA TEST ).

Antennas to be checked
- Front side antenna (outdoor)
  OK: Normal is displayed.
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: Go to Step 3
2. NO: Replace the outside transmission antenna assembly (passenger's side).
STEP 3. Check whether the diagnostic trouble code is stored again.
1. Erase the DTC.
2. Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from OFF to ON.
3. Check if the DTC is stored.
4. Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from ON to OFF.
Q: Is the DTC stored?
1. YES: Replace KOS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to ON-VEHICLE SERVICE < KOS-ECU > ).
2. NO: Intermittent malfunction is suspected (Refer to HOW TO DEAL WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTION ).
