Passenger's Air Bag Off Indicator Lamp Check

  1. Check that the "PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF" indicator light illuminates when the ignition switch is turned ON.
  2. Check that the light is extinguished after the approximately 6 to 8 seconds illumination. Check that the warning light is extinguished afterward.
  3. Except the above, the SRS system is abnormal. Thus, check the diagnostic trouble code (Refer to CHECK CHART FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  ).
