When a 4WD system check screen is displayed on the center of the multi-information display and a "4WD" symbol flashes at the left top without storing any diagnostic trouble codes, the power supply to the AWC-ECU may be defective.
When the power supply voltage to the AWC-ECU drops under approx. 6 V, the ECU cannot store any diagnostic trouble codes due to the poor power supply. In this case, the combination meter will determine that the AWC-ECU is timed out, and then display "4WD system check" at the center of the multi-information display and make "4WD" symbol flash at the left top.
