<< A >> Engine Mounting Bracket Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: When supporting the engine and transmission assembly with a garage jack, be careful not to deform the engine oil pan.
  1. Place a garage jack against the engine oil pan with a piece of wood in between to support the engine and transmission assembly.
  2. Operate a garage jack so that the engine weight is not applied to the engine mounting bracket, and remove the engine mounting bracket.
