When the ETACS-ECU < Vehicles without Keyless Operation System > or KOS-ECU < Vehicles with Keyless Operation System > receives an abnormal vehicle speed signal consecutively with the ignition switch (engine starting switch) in the ON position, the ECU determines that there is a failure.
