Probable Causes

- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
- ASC-ECU malfunction
- Wrong routing of scan tool (M.U.T.-III) harness
- Abnormality in battery or generator
- Abnormality in power supply voltage to ASC-ECU
- ECU malfunction of other system
Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) CAN bus diagnosis
Use scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to diagnose the CAN bus lines.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Check the power supply circuit, and repair if necessary (Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 12: ASC-ECU POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT SYSTEM. ).
- NO: Repair the CAN bus lines (Refer to CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE ).
