Fail-Safe/Backup Function: Notes

The TCM is equipped with the diagnostic function to monitor the input signals from each sensor and output signals from the actuators. If an abnormality occurs in the signal system, the diagnostic function memorizes the abnormal symptoms and outputs a DTC.
