DTC B1161: VIN mismatch: Diagnosis

  1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), diagnose the CAN bus line.
  2. Check the VIN registered in the engine control module and the VIN of the vehicle.
  3. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
