DTC B1134: ECU power supply: Diagnosis

- STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), check data list. CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the power supply mode of the engine switch to the OFF position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
- Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "HOW TO CONNECT THE SCAN TOOL (M.U.T.-III) ."
- Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch to OFF.
- Check the OSS-ECU data list.

Q: Are the check result normal?
- STEP 2. Check of short to power supply, short to ground, and open circuit in +B1 line between OSS-ECU connector and fusible link NOTE: Before the wiring harness check, check the joint connector, ETACS-ECU connector, and repair if necessary.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 4.
- NO: Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
- STEP 3. Check of short to power supply, short to ground, and open circuit in +B2 line between OSS-ECU connector and fusible link NOTE: Before the wiring harness check, check the joint connector, ETACS-ECU connector, and repair if necessary.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 4.
- NO: Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
- STEP 4. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
- Erase the DTC.
- Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from OFF to ON.
- Check if DTC is stored.
- Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from ON to OFF.
Q: Is the DTC stored?
- YES: Replace the OSS-ECU and register the VIN (Refer to REGISTRATION WHEN REPLACING OSS-ECU ).
- NO: Intermittent malfunction is suspected (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTION ).
