Differential Mechanism Part

  1. Remove the filler plug.
  2. Remove the drain plug and drain oil.
  3. Install the drain plug, and tighten it to the specified torque.

    Tightening torque: 32 ± 2 N.m (23 ± 2 ft-lb) 

  4. Fill the specified gear oil up to the bottom of the filler plug hole.

    Specified gear oil: MITSUBISHI Genuine DIA QUEEN LSD gear oil 

    Amount to use: 0.55 ± 0.02 dm 3  (0.58 ± 0.02 qt)

  5. Install the filler plug, and tighten it to the specified torque.

    Tightening torque: 49 ± 10 N.m (37 ± 7 ft-lb)
