- STEP 1. Check the combination meter.
Check whether the speed meter works normally. (Refer to ON-VEHICLE SERVICE .)
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 2.
- NO: Diagnose the combination meter. (Refer to Combination meter - Troubleshooting TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHART .)
- STEP 2. Check the multivision operation check if the own vehicle mark is dislocated while driving.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 3.
- NO: Diagnose the MMCS. (Refer to TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHART .)
- STEP 3. Check the diagnosis mode
Check if the hands free module can be switched to the diagnosis mode. (Refer to HANDS FREE MODULE .)
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Go to Step 4.
- NO: Perform Inspection Procedure 6: "DIAGNOSIS MODE cannot be made an entry. Mobile Phone item is not displayed on the INFOR screen of MMCS". (Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 6: DIAGNOSIS MODE CANNOT BE MADE AN ENTRY. MOBILE PHONE ITEM IS NOT DISPLAYED ON THE INFOR SCREEN OF MMCS. < VEHICLES WITH MMCS > .)
- STEP 4. Replace the hands free module temporarily, and check the trouble symptom.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Replace the hands free module.
- NO: Replace the multivision display.
