- STEP 4. Retest the system
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES: The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS ).
NO: Carry out the troubleshooting again.
- STEP 5. Measure the voltage at AC inverter connector D-128.
- Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Measure the voltage between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 3) and the body ground.
- The voltage should measure approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage).
Q: Does the voltage measure battery voltage?
YES: Go to Step 8.
NO: Go to Step 6.
- STEP 6. Check the wiring harness between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 3) and ETACS-ECU connector C-313 (terminal No. 2).
Q: Is the wiring harness between AC inverter connector D-128 (terminal No. 3) and ETACS-ECU connector C-313 (terminal No. 2) in good condition?
YES: Go to Step 7.

- STEP 10. Retest the system
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES: The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS ).
NO: Carry out the troubleshooting again.
- STEP 11. Check AC outlet connector D-103 for loose, corroded or damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the connector.
Q: Is AC outlet connector D-103 in good condition?
YES: Go to Step 12.
NO: Repair the damaged parts.
- STEP 12. Measure the resistance at AC inverter connector D-128 and AC outlet connector D-103.
