INSPECTION PROCEDURE 17: When in the navigation mode, the messages below are displayed: Diagnosis
- STEP 1. Check that no fouling or scratch is present to the DVD (map disc).
Q: Is any fouling or scratch present to DVD (map disc)?
YES: Go to Step 2.
NO: Replace the special map disc. Check that the message is not displayed when in the navigation mode.
- STEP 2. When the DVD (map disc) is inserted again, check that the map display is normal.
Q: When the DVD (map disc) is inserted again, is the map display normal?
YES: The procedure is complete.
NO: Replace the navigation unit. Check that the message is not displayed when in the navigation mode.
"THE DISC IS NOT A MAP DISC. PLEASE INSERT THE MAP DISC."
- STEP 1. Check that the inserted DVD (map disc) is the special map disc.
Q: Is the inserted DVD (map disc) the special map disc?
YES: Go to Step 2.
NO: Replace with the special map disc. Check that the message is not displayed when in the navigation mode.
- STEP 2. When the DVD (map disc) is inserted again, check that the map display is normal.
Q: When the DVD (map disc) is inserted again, is the map display normal?
YES: The procedure is complete.
NO: Replace the navigation unit. Check that the message is not displayed when in the navigation mode.
