Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to scan tool, always turn ignition switch to LOCK (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool.
NOTE:
If the M-ASTC-ECU functions have stopped due to the fail-safe function, the HBB DTC cannot be erased.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect scan tool (MB991502) to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions, clear HBB DTCs from M-ASTC-ECU. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position, then disconnect scan tool.
