Removal & Installation
- Loosen parking brake adjusting nuts.
- Remove rear floor console. See Figure
.
- Remove brake drum. See Figure
.
- Insert a 10-mm wrench onto the parking brake cable and withdraw cable from the backing plate. See Figure
.
- Disconnect parking brake cables from parking brake lever. See Fig 1
.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Check parking brake lever stroke, and adjust as necessary. See PARKING BRAKE LEVER STROKE
under ADJUSTMENTS.
