Brake Warning Light & Buzzer Operation Check

Chock wheels and start engine. Allow engine to idle for more than 120 seconds.
Release parking brake, and fully depress brake pedal repeatedly 15 to 20 times within 10 seconds. Confirm that warning light comes on and buzzer sounds.
If operation is not as specified, retrieve DTCs, see RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Repair as directed. If no DTCs are present, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYSTEM TESTS.
