Trouble Shooting Hints

If shock or lag time of 2 seconds or more occurs when gearshift lever is moved from "N" to "D" position with engine idling, the most likely causes for this concern are:

• Abnormal underdrive clutch pressure.
• Faulty underdrive solenoid valve.
• Faulty underdrive clutch.
• Faulty valve body.
• Faulty TP sensor.
• Faulty PCM.
