Conditions For Setting DTC

When output signal from output shaft speed sensor multiplied by 4th gear ratio is not the same as output signal from input shaft speed sensor after shifting to 4th, DTC 44 is set. When DTC 44 is set 4 times, transmission is locked into 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure and the "N" range indicator light flashes once per second.
