Circuit Description

When the throttle is moved from the idle position to the fully opened position, the resistance between the TP sensor output and ground terminals will increase according to the throttle position.

With the ignition on, TP sensor voltage at PCM increases from about 0.7 volt at closed throttle to about 5 volts in the fully opened position.
