Step 13: Check The Vehicle Speed Sensor Power Supply Circuit At The Vehicle Speed Meter Connector C-08 By Backprobing

1. DO NOT disconnect the vehicle speed sensor connector C-08.
2. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
3. Measure the voltage between terminal No. 1 and ground by backprobing. See Fig 1 .

Is the voltage approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage)?

• YES
  
  Go to step 16  .
• NO
  
  Go to step 14  .
