Step 22: Check Each Equipment

Disconnect RV meter connector D-07, auto-cruise control-ECU connector D-12 and combination meter connector D-03 in that order one by one. Then check that MFI system DTC P0500 does not reset under any conditions.

CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool MB991502 or MB991958, always turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool MB991502 or MB991958.
  1. Connect scan tool MB991502 or MB991958 to the data link connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
  3. Read the MFI system diagnostic trouble code.

Does MFI system DTC P0500 reset when one of RV meter connector D-07, auto-cruise control-ECU or combination meter, powertrain control module is disconnected?
