Gauge Resistance Test
- Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Check resistance between temperature gauge terminals at rear of instrument cluster. See TEMPERATURE GAUGE RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . If resistance is within specification, fuel gauge is okay. If resistance is not within specification, replace fuel gauge and engine coolant temperature gauge.
