Installation (Eclipse, Galant, Mirage & Montero Sport - RWD)

To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply Lubriplate onto shoe-to-backing plate bosses, adjuster assembly threads and parking brake lever pin.
Adjust shoes to lightly contact brake drum. See REAR BRAKE SHOES under ADJUSTMENTS. Depress brake pedal to center shoes, and check pedal travel. Rotate brake drum to ensure free movement.
