Hazard Light Switch Test

Remove hazard light switch from instrument panel. Disconnect switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check switch continuity. With switch in OFF position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 5 and 7, and between terminals No. 9 and 10. With switch in ON position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1, 2 and 4, between terminals No. 5 and 6, and between terminals No. 9 and 10. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace hazard light switch.
