Speedometer Not Working

On mechanical-type speedometers, ensure speedometer cable is properly connected and correctly routed. If speedometer pointer and/or odometer still do not work, replace speedometer cable or speedometer assembly.

On electric-type speedometers, check for faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), input/output sensors or faulty circuit. For testing, see SPEEDOMETER TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. Repair or replace as necessary.
