Hazard Light Switch Test: Montero

Remove hazard light switch from instrument panel. Disconnect switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check switch continuity. With switch in OFF position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 5 and 7, and between terminals No. 8, 9 and 10. With switch in ON position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1-6, and between terminals No. 9 and 10. See Figure. If continuity is not as specified, replace hazard light switch.
