Front Impact Sensor Test

Before proceeding, read and understand all air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disconnect front impact sensor connector. See Figure . Measure resistance across sensor connector terminals. Replace sensor if resistance is not 1960-2040 ohms. Measure resistance between each terminal and sensor case. Resistance should be infinite.
