Self-Diagnostic System

Self-diagnostic system diagnoses and stores information about Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) malfunctions. ECS control unit monitors several circuits and stores a trouble code if a malfunction is detected. When a malfunction is detected, self-diagnostic system alerts driver by flashing ECS indicator light on dash. Self-diagnostic system has a fail-safe mode which terminates ECS control in order to maintain driving stability when a malfunction is detected in a monitored circuit.
